Job Function:
As a Driver Merchandiser at Coke Canada Bottling, you will be responsible for delivering pre-ordered products to assigned accounts in the Hamilton area. This position entails local driving and merchandising responsibilities. You will be driving a Coke Canada Bottling fleet truck, ensuring the accuracy and stability of the truck load, and adhering to all company policies regarding equipment and safety. Additionally, you will maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers while delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-ordered products to customers on assigned routes using a Coke Canada Bottling fleet truck.
- Verify the accuracy and stability of the truck load.
- Adhere to all Coke Canada Bottling and Store policies regarding equipment and safety.
- Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers.
- Lift, carry, and position products weighing up to 50lbs or 22kgs above shoulder height without assistance.
- Merchandise products at customer locations as needed.
- Operate manual and powered equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand-trucks, to move product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.
- Collect company property.
- Follow all Coke Canada Bottling and Store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety.
Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial License with Air (Class 1 or AZ) and a clean driving record over the last three (3) years.
- Minimum of one (1) year of commercial driving experience.
- One to three years of general work experience.
- Local delivery experience preferred.
- Ability to repetitively lift, carry, and position product (weight up to 50lbs or 22kgs) above shoulder height without assistance.
